Our story

Petrus Aurifaber worked in medieval Turku, back then the capital of Finland. He is the first Finnish goldsmith that history knows by name.

Aurifaber of today is still the town’s goldsmith who believes in high quality handicraft. Aurifaber creates unique jewellery for the patrons who walk in, to suit their taste and personality. Thanks to modern technology and the internet, the “town” is simply a bit bigger than it was in Petrus’ time.

The way we work

The way we work imitates that of our predecessor. Each item we make is an individual design, hand-made handicraft directly to the customer, without middlemen. Our products are just as individual as the people who wear them.

In addition to our gallery workshop, we serve you through our virtual gallery and eShop. You will meet your personal goldsmith in the net, which makes geographical location insignificant.
